We were pointed in the opposite direction and the drives never showed any signs of strain so we kept on chugging and made it through 50 mph gusts. Seeing was...honestly better than I would expect given the conditions (but like, it's the arctic diffuser, so bad seeing helps, right?). We had high clouds all night. dcam showed the strange pattern tonight (I think this is the first time I've seen it). it was present on images 144, 145, and 161. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:19 dcamera 432( 535) 25 49 8.2 7.7 8.1 7.7 7.7 -- 1.19 00:19 arctic 485( 617) 6 79 6.5 5.7 6.1 5.9 6.1 sdss_i 1.35 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 46 -1 11 33 (NNE) 126 mstly clr none 17:00 45 -2 9 346 (NNW) 48 mstly clr none 18:00 47 -1 14 349 (N) 108 mstly clr none 19:00 45 -2 9 1 (N) 139 mstly clr none 20:00 42 -4 8 336 (NNW) 471 mstly cldy none 21:00 43 8 16 316 (NW) 1771 mstly cldy none 22:00 44 8 9 12 (NNE) 1262 mstly cldy none 23:00 43 4 12 352 (N) 1060 mstly cldy none 00:00 43 -3 17 2 (N) 469 mstly cldy none 01:00 43 -3 17 8 (N) 281 mstly cldy none 02:00 42 -4 20 11 (N) 377 mstly cldy none 03:00 42 -4 35 15 (NNE) 528 mstly cldy none 04:00 42 -3 29 16 (NNE) 322 mstly cldy none 05:00 43 6 34 27 (NNE) 202 mstly cldy none 06:00 43 15 34 18 (NNE) 278 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
