This fixed the readout problem I saw (Images too early). About 3:30 we could smell and see smoke outside. Not sure of the source. We The wind was coming out of the west but we couldn't see anything below the ridge from the SDSS skirt or top of the ARCSAT stairs. I reversed the fans to minimize pulling smoke thru the mirror. No drive problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:32 dcamera 356( 667) 74 79 9.8 12.1 11.9 12.2 10.5 -- 0.94 18:30 dcamera 334( 594) 31 48 10.1 10.8 11.0 10.6 10.2 -- 1.50 00:40 arctic 465( 768) 157 68 9.3 8.9 9.6 9.0 9.1 SDSS_i 0.80 00:41 NA2gdr 3973(37973) 158 68 9.5 8.9 9.5 9.0 9.1 clear 0.95 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 52 31 9 263 (W) 540 ptly cldy none 17:00 50 32 9 240 (WSW) 610 ptly cldy none 18:00 49 30 8 239 (WSW) 653 ptly cldy none 19:00 50 29 13 261 (W) 550 ptly cldy none 20:00 50 30 9 248 (WSW) 548 ptly cldy none 21:00 50 30 5 261 (W) 559 ptly cldy none 22:00 50 30 9 272 (W) 586 ptly cldy none 23:00 50 31 7 257 (WSW) 607 mstly clr none 00:00 49 30 6 269 (W) 542 ptly cldy none 01:00 48 30 9 280 (W) 443 mstly clr none 02:00 49 26 9 294 (WNW) 413 mstly clr none 03:00 50 25 13 300 (WNW) 2780 mstly clr none 04:00 50 24 17 303 (WNW) 936 mstly clr none 05:00 49 24 16 301 (WNW) 480 ptly cldy none 06:00 50 23 16 304 (NW) 139 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
