They started with the echelle, then switched to DIS. GS01 got their time somewhere in there with DIS. NM class: Sean Sellers Rachel Marra David DeColibus Kristen Luohsinger Julie Imig Trevor Picard Minje Beom Sarah Kovac Aleczander Herczeg DIS HV ion pump issues tonight, multiple restarts of the HV during the night. We had an issue with the DIS turret not repositioning the gratings properly when switching from mirror to gratings. Homing turret seemed to resolve the issue (It was their last DIS exposure) We several issues with all three of the axis on the telescope tonight. Problems such as motion errors and/or refusing to move one or multiple axis/rotator. I reset the drive controllers but that didn't fix the issue. email sent to engineering staff with more details. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- NM01 D T/H 19:55 20:03 Reset alt and az drie controllers NM01 D I/H 21:05 21:20 DIS turret did not position correctly, homed turret. ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:46 ecamera 316( -268) 230 71 9.4 11.2 11.0 11.2 9.7 clear 0.75 20:08 dcamera 325( 478) 274 69 9.1 9.0 9.5 8.8 8.9 -- 1.00 22:48 tcamera 515( 833) 111 73 8.0 8.2 9.0 8.3 8.2 Ks 1.10 23:58 ecamera 296( -449) 144 62 8.9 8.0 8.6 7.8 8.2 ND1 1.00 01:00 tcamera 515( 843) 99 50 9.2 8.2 8.9 8.6 8.9 Ks 1.10 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 53 25 10 274 (W) 185 ptly cldy none 17:00 49 24 9 287 (WNW) 194 mstly cldy none 18:00 49 25 8 264 (W) 198 mstly cldy none 19:00 48 28 7 231 (SW) 279 ptly cldy none 20:00 49 27 9 234 (SW) 371 mstly clr none 21:00 48 26 8 200 (SSW) 301 clear none 22:00 49 26 7 184 (S) 253 clear none 23:00 48 24 5 137 (SE) 267 clear none 00:00 48 22 9 144 (SE) 233 ptly cldy none 01:00 49 19 4 156 (SSE) 200 ptly cldy none 02:00 50 18 8 114 (ESE) 170 mstly clr none 03:00 50 15 9 86 (E) 119 mstly clr none 04:00 48 18 11 101 (E) 174 mstly clr none 05:00 47 19 14 89 (E) 184 mstly clr none 06:00 46 22 13 113 (ESE) 223 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
