Observer started observing 18:00, but clouds rolled in by 20:30, and with radar returns appearing, we had to close. We were not able to open the rest of the night due to overcast skies and constant radar echos in the area. Observer called it a night at 05:00. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:14 arctic 642( 370) -66 62 -0.2 1.5 1.4 1.2 0.5 SDSS-r 1.16 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 35 15 11 243 (WSW) 388 mstly clr none 17:00 32 11 6 260 (W) 439 mstly clr none 18:00 31 12 6 264 (W) 454 mstly clr none 19:00 32 17 6 276 (W) 459 mstly cldy none 20:00 33 14 10 325 (NW) 402 mstly cldy none 21:00 34 14 5 287 (WNW) 434 mstly cldy none 22:00 33 15 3 301 (WNW) 393 cloudy none 23:00 35 16 4 259 (W) 408 cloudy none 00:00 34 16 10 258 (WSW) 390 cloudy none 01:00 34 17 7 263 (W) 383 cloudy none 02:00 32 17 2 243 (WSW) 438 cloudy none 03:00 33 17 10 266 (W) 400 cloudy none 04:00 33 17 10 300 (WNW) 404 cloudy none 05:00 32 17 9 335 (NNW) 402 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
