Started out with a blizzard, that is finally petering out at about 22:00. About 4 inches was dumped in the space of a few hours, with drifts up to a foot. Public power failed and the generator kicked in. Due to the switchover, we had an enclosure error while running the snow removal program. Movement was eventually restored, but not until after the storm had passed. There is definitely snow and there may be drifts on the roof. We were unable to open at all. The scope was parked facing due south. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 28 28 10 221 (SW) cloudy snow 17:00 27 27 12 214 (SW) cloudy snow 18:00 27 27 6 238 (WSW) cloudy snow 19:00 27 27 8 193 (SSW) cloudy snow 20:00 28 28 6 194 (SSW) cloudy snow 21:00 27 27 1 246 (WSW) cloudy lt snow 22:00 28 28 1 231 (SW) cloudy fog 23:00 28 28 2 336 (NNW) cloudy fog 00:00 29 28 2 255 (WSW) cloudy fog 01:00 26 24 3 335 (NNW) mstly clr fog 02:00 27 26 9 357 (N) mstly clr humid 03:00 26 25 1 283 (WNW) mstly clr humid 04:00 26 25 5 346 (NNW) mstly clr humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
