OK, most of that phrasing was completely stolen from Bulwer-Lytton but it is all true! We were not able to open tonight, though I was very tempted to push my luck with Venus before the storm official hit. The power did not go out but the lights were flickering like mad when the storm hit at the beginning of the night. We were promised 9 inches of snow and we only got half an inch of rain and grapple...which turned to sludge. No problems tonight (except for a very disappointed snowman architect). ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 41 31 15 146 (SE) 1758 ptly cldy none 17:00 40 28 19 137 (SE) 1440 ptly cldy none 18:00 37 32 19 127 (SE) ptly cldy none 19:00 39 32 29 142 (SE) mstly cldy none 20:00 40 31 25 183 (S) mstly clr rain 21:00 37 32 7 179 (S) cloudy rain 22:00 39 31 19 160 (SSE) cloudy rain 23:00 37 31 28 146 (SE) cloudy rain 00:00 35 30 11 244 (WSW) cloudy rain 01:00 36 31 16 174 (S) cloudy rain 02:00 36 31 17 184 (S) cloudy rain 03:00 36 31 22 174 (S) cloudy rain 04:00 35 31 22 188 (S) cloudy rain Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
