We took advantage of a break between cloudfronts to open at 20:53. The hole passed and we had to close again at 22:05 since observer was not getting useful data. We were able to open again at 01:42 for Adler. Skies were partly cloudy, but the threat of rain had passed. Skies became exceptionally clear and transparent toward the end of the night. Tpsec checkout image appeared to be corrupted again. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 01:17 ecamera 775( -234) -9 39 10.8 10.3 10.8 10.3 10.4 clear 1.21 21:00 dcamera 535( 710) 83 72 11.2 13.3 13.6 13.6 12.4 - 1.12 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 60 48 2 221 (SW) 330 ptly cldy none 17:00 59 46 12 241 (WSW) 264 mstly cldy none 18:00 60 47 3 238 (WSW) 404 mstly cldy none 19:00 54 47 0 200 (SSW) 707 mstly cldy none 20:00 52 42 9 87 (E) 339 ptly cldy none 21:00 52 41 13 77 (ENE) 306 ptly cldy none 22:00 52 41 12 81 (E) 313 mstly cldy none 23:00 52 41 18 79 (E) 288 mstly cldy none 00:00 52 38 12 80 (E) 149 mstly cldy none 01:00 52 38 12 96 (E) 149 ptly cldy none 02:00 50 38 13 87 (E) 284 ptly cldy none 03:00 50 41 14 81 (E) 478 ptly cldy none 04:00 49 39 13 84 (E) 475 clear none 05:00 49 40 12 103 (ESE) 509 clear none 06:00 48 39 12 93 (E) 502 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
