Second half there were some clouds that grew thicker. From 04:30 until we closed due to impenetrable clouds at 05:45, I estimate we were taking data maybe half the time, so I pro-rated the time listings above. ARCTIC was having some ion pump pressure spikes which I only realized at the end of the night were due to cryogenic problems. Hopefully that can be improved soon. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:42 ecamera 740( -205) 32 57 10.1 11.8 11.4 11.2 11.1 ND2 1.05 22:46 ecamera 766( -291) -5 51 9.8 9.5 10.1 9.4 9.4 Clear 1.79 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 58 37 10 206 (SSW) 832 ptly cldy none 17:00 56 35 3 246 (WSW) 920 ptly cldy none 18:00 56 35 10 257 (WSW) 979 mstly clr none 19:00 51 34 3 286 (WNW) 947 mstly clr none 20:00 49 33 3 296 (WNW) 1002 clear none 21:00 50 33 5 267 (W) 1067 mstly clr none 22:00 49 34 6 173 (S) 1264 mstly clr none 23:00 49 32 3 232 (SW) 1673 clear none 00:00 50 32 2 243 (WSW) 1814 clear none 01:00 50 32 1 228 (SW) 1796 clear none 02:00 50 32 1 165 (SSE) 1915 clear none 03:00 50 31 4 116 (ESE) 1250 mstly clr none 04:00 49 32 11 84 (E) 1187 ptly cldy none 05:00 47 29 13 80 (E) 1526 ptly cldy none 06:00 48 25 11 78 (ENE) 1168 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
