We saw nothing. We were defeated. Alas, tonight was not meant to be. The openings when the sky fancied to show us its photons were found to be few and fleeting. Humidity kept us closed most of the evening...until it started raining and then rain kept us closed the rest of the evening until Humidity 2: The Fog struck with a vengeance. We gave up shortly after 4am. Perhaps there will be more luck tomorrow. I was not able to get Tcam operating tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 61 51 5 209 (SSW) mstly cldy none 17:00 63 52 6 260 (W) mstly cldy none 18:00 59 52 10 192 (SSW) mstly cldy none 19:00 57 53 7 190 (S) mstly cldy humid 20:00 55 53 15 128 (SE) mstly cldy humid 21:00 54 53 15 132 (SE) cloudy humid 22:00 54 53 13 144 (SE) cloudy rain 23:00 54 52 8 137 (SE) cloudy rain 00:00 53 50 9 143 (SE) cloudy rain 01:00 53 50 7 194 (SSW) ptly cldy humid 02:00 52 49 10 185 (S) clear humid 03:00 54 50 9 186 (S) mstly cldy humid 04:00 53 52 11 193 (SSW) cloudy humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
