It be Talk Like a Pirate Day! Yar, and tonight we be space pirates! On 'er dark seas we be sailing with our eye glass pointn' to them stars. Many a photons we be seeing, though there do be thin clouds rolling through. Seeing be good and all parts of our new vessel sail true (the diffuser performed beautifully and spun all night long). Before the night be over, we do call scurvy dog to the moon and fired upon it with our green cannon and collect the booty we call arrrrs. We had the lads and lasses walk the plank of training (S.Mahadevan, G.Steffanson completed their onsite trainig) but they be true seadogs and not be fallin' into Davey Jone's locker. We do bid a sad yo ho to our Captn' Hawley. It be a good night, savvy? (Please don’t feed me to the fish, I’ve been waiting weeks for the pirate night log!) ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:50 arctic 695( 1296) 153 69 17.3 18.7 18.3 17.9 18.2 Semrock 0.79 04:49 APOLLO 550( 1635) 275 55 14.3 13.4 13.9 13.3 13.4 558 1.50 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 75 32 4 237 (WSW) 302 mstly clr none 17:00 70 27 8 264 (W) 298 mstly clr none 18:00 68 25 5 255 (WSW) 334 mstly clr none 19:00 62 26 5 258 (WSW) 316 mstly clr none 20:00 63 22 2 194 (SSW) 318 mstly clr none 21:00 63 22 7 182 (S) 392 mstly clr none 22:00 63 20 6 183 (S) 353 mstly clr none 23:00 62 24 6 168 (SSE) 378 mstly clr none 00:00 61 30 9 175 (S) 520 mstly clr none 01:00 58 35 16 134 (SE) 578 ptly cldy none 02:00 58 37 18 134 (SE) 706 mstly cldy none 03:00 57 38 16 158 (SSE) 693 ptly cldy none 04:00 58 39 12 171 (S) 627 ptly cldy none 05:00 57 41 11 171 (S) 659 mstly clr none 06:00 58 45 13 180 (S) 661 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
