The sky was clear with sub arcsec seeing. We tested the arctic diffuser and, aside from an issue up the diffuser not being able to retract while the instrument is inverted, everything worked well! Eilat Glikman offered to give her time to Leslie Hebb, who has collaborators Suvrath Mahadeven and Gummi Stefanson being trained on site. Tspec exhibited corrupted images and I will attempt power cycling it tomorrow. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:08 ecamera 786( 9) -32 80 14.3 15.3 15.3 14.8 14.9 ND3 0.73 20:27 ecamera 790( -27) 206 74 15.0 14.5 14.9 14.2 14.4 clear 0.94 22:01 ecamera 699( -153) 80 73 14.3 13.8 14.3 13.5 13.6 ND5 0.67 00:50 arctic 695( 1045) 227 35 14.2 13.3 13.9 13.3 13.4 SDSS-r 1.03 03:09 arctic 705( 1051) 219 45 14.4 13.4 14.1 13.6 13.8 860 0.69 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 67 48 11 212 (SSW) 689 mstly clr none 17:00 68 41 14 222 (SW) 547 mstly clr none 18:00 64 37 12 265 (W) 576 clear none 19:00 60 37 9 261 (W) 592 clear none 20:00 58 34 7 311 (NW) 646 clear none 21:00 59 28 6 283 (WNW) 537 clear none 22:00 59 28 8 232 (SW) 493 clear none 23:00 58 27 6 216 (SW) 430 clear none 00:00 57 27 6 205 (SSW) 426 clear none 01:00 58 28 6 191 (S) 522 clear none 02:00 58 28 8 184 (S) 492 clear none 03:00 58 21 7 190 (S) 461 clear none 04:00 58 20 6 258 (WSW) 401 clear none 05:00 57 22 1 204 (SSW) 472 clear none 06:00 57 22 1 208 (SSW) 445 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
