Cleared somewhat, and the radar returns evaporated, allowing us to risk an opening at 01:20. It proved to be too cloudy to get useful data, and we closed again at 02:09. While doing an inst swap at 03:00, skies cleared almost instantly (seriously, from mostly cloudy to completely clear in 10 minutes!), and we were able to open for OU03. Clouds forced a clousure once again at 05:30, and we stayed closed. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 01:31 arctic 850( 1157) -16 50 11.7 12.7 15.2 12.4 12.4 r 1.32 03:30 tcamera 550( 853) 110 68 11.9 11.9 12.7 11.8 11.8 - 0.83 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 61 42 14 271 (W) ptly cldy none 17:00 63 46 12 202 (SSW) ptly cldy none 18:00 60 43 7 232 (SW) mstly cldy none 19:00 57 42 2 226 (SW) mstly cldy rain 20:00 53 43 13 206 (SSW) mstly cldy none 21:00 51 45 11 160 (SSE) mstly cldy rain 22:00 53 44 10 189 (S) mstly cldy lt rain 23:00 49 47 4 2 (N) mstly cldy humid 00:00 49 45 17 125 (SE) ptly cldy humid 01:00 51 40 9 172 (S) ptly cldy none 02:00 54 40 3 205 (SSW) mstly cldy none 03:00 53 42 1 231 (SW) clear none 04:00 53 40 6 308 (NW) clear none 05:00 52 39 6 282 (WNW) mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
