Radar echoes were also heading across the basin by then, so we closed and were unable to open for the rest of the night although we didn't get any actual rain. Despite a few clouds, APOLLO was finally able to run with the new calibration system, a big breakthrough. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:25 APOLLO 550( 1878) 57 53 14.1 18.1 17.1 18.1 17.6 530 1.20 20:35 ecamera 637( -87) 134 48 14.4 16.0 15.6 15.5 15.4 ND1 0.90 01:15 ecamera 750( -157) 40 50 12.3 12.5 12.9 12.4 12.2 Clear 1.20 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 62 39 8 266 (W) mstly clr none 17:00 64 44 11 309 (NW) clear none 18:00 63 41 7 267 (W) mstly clr none 19:00 59 44 2 256 (WSW) mstly clr none 20:00 58 37 3 264 (W) ptly cldy none 21:00 57 41 2 234 (SW) ptly cldy none 22:00 57 42 2 206 (SSW) ptly cldy none 23:00 56 43 8 204 (SSW) ptly cldy none 00:00 55 44 8 221 (SW) ptly cldy none 01:00 55 46 7 237 (WSW) mstly cldy none 02:00 55 46 9 237 (WSW) mstly cldy none 03:00 54 45 6 241 (WSW) mstly cldy none 04:00 54 45 9 264 (W) mstly cldy none 05:00 54 45 8 223 (SW) mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
