Clouds rolled in from all side. We were surrounded with the bursts of angry clouds that shook the earth with their might. The rain raged around us for most of the night. Then, the storm began to calm. An eerie calm with no rain or thunder but still the discharge of potential off in the basin. We were not able to open tonight, though, we tried to weather the storm out. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 68 46 6 161 (SSE) 1461 cloudy none 17:00 67 46 9 196 (SSW) 1445 cloudy none 18:00 69 42 9 175 (S) 1400 cloudy none 19:00 67 45 8 206 (SSW) 1361 cloudy none 20:00 66 43 9 186 (S) 1450 cloudy rain 21:00 62 46 15 121 (ESE) 1582 cloudy rain 22:00 56 48 11 90 (E) 1268 cloudy rain 23:00 54 48 19 110 (ESE) 1205 cloudy rain 00:00 58 45 23 161 (SSE) 1156 cloudy rain 01:00 57 47 22 181 (S) 1744 cloudy rain 02:00 60 43 13 182 (S) 822 cloudy none 03:00 61 44 13 148 (SSE) 1242 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
