During my test slews I noticed that the AZ error was much larger than I am used to. Values +/-40 instead of +/-10 range. I did multiple slews in AZ to see if this would get smaller but it didn't seem to. Telescope seemed to slew ok (not on sky to check pointing) and I didn't hear anything unusual on the intercom. I did multiple magna sensor dumps (~06:45UT) when I was trying multiple slews in Az to see if I could reduce the errors. Moths??? Pointing was fine on the sky. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 00:33 dcamera 603( 981) 32 47 15.1 17.0 18.2 16.9 16.9 -- 1.40 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 65 56 4 288 (WNW) 406 ptly cldy none 17:00 65 53 10 307 (NW) 406 ptly cldy none 18:00 66 54 11 290 (WNW) 380 ptly cldy none 19:00 63 54 6 249 (WSW) 391 cloudy none 20:00 61 53 7 192 (SSW) 384 cloudy none 21:00 58 53 6 263 (W) 467 cloudy rain 22:00 59 51 2 233 (SW) 405 mstly cldy none 23:00 61 51 3 207 (SSW) 422 cloudy none 00:00 61 50 3 221 (SW) 340 cloudy none 01:00 59 51 4 262 (W) 382 mstly clr none 02:00 60 51 7 285 (WNW) 439 ptly cldy none 03:00 60 50 9 336 (NNW) 483 ptly cldy none 04:00 60 49 4 357 (N) 494 mstly cldy none 05:00 60 50 12 7 (N) 603 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
