The western storm swung south and just missed us. Unfortunately, the stuff from the NE did not miss us and we had to close at 23:08 (I knew that 0.68" was too good to be true!). We were able to reopen at 00:02 and stay open the rest of the night but we were constantly having to fight through clouds. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:06 APOLLO 327( 1827) 279 41 20.2 21.3 20.7 20.6 20.0 530 1.20 21:15 ecamera 555( 42) 32 45 18.9 20.1 20.3 19.8 19.3 ND2 0.68 23:09 ecamera 453( -184) 3 45 15.8 17.7 18.2 17.6 16.6 ND2 1.01 23:09 ecamera 453( -184) 3 45 15.8 17.7 18.2 17.6 16.6 ND2 1.01 23:58 ecamera 640( -82) 129 39 15.2 15.9 16.6 15.6 15.2 ND1 3.07 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 76 39 4 92 (E) 809 mstly cldy none 17:00 69 37 14 55 (NE) 657 mstly cldy none 18:00 72 37 12 61 (ENE) 534 mstly clr none 19:00 69 38 6 93 (E) 504 mstly clr none 20:00 69 38 2 227 (SW) 751 mstly clr none 21:00 66 36 6 256 (WSW) 782 mstly clr none 22:00 67 35 12 266 (W) 710 mstly cldy none 23:00 64 39 9 90 (E) 690 ptly cldy none 00:00 61 42 12 83 (E) 563 ptly cldy none 01:00 59 46 17 114 (ESE) 613 mstly cldy none 02:00 59 46 10 115 (ESE) 531 mstly cldy none 03:00 60 46 5 163 (SSE) 530 ptly cldy none 04:00 59 47 17 138 (SE) 876 ptly cldy none 05:00 57 47 7 108 (ESE) 1207 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
