These went away around 23:00 and we had fantastic seeing!! The best seeing I've...well..ever seen! Unfortunately UV01 was trying to observe very faint galaxies and her last target was just too faint. She offered to donate some of her time to UW04, which was gladly accepted. The Obs 1 computer froze and required a hard reboot. Other than that there were no problems tonight. I would also like to point out that this has been a moth free night! ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:53 dcamera 629( 1281) 95 58 20.0 22.4 22.2 22.1 21.2 -- 2.43 20:49 dcamera 426( 971) 89 70 18.6 20.6 20.7 20.0 19.4 -- 1.10 22:29 dcamera 341( 776) -17 84 17.9 18.5 18.9 18.1 17.8 -- 1.06 00:04 ecamera 551( -120) -41 79 17.6 17.4 18.0 17.3 17.0 ND4 0.65 03:38 ecamera 577( -111) -111 56 17.2 16.9 17.3 17.0 17.0 Clear 0.93 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 74 34 6 259 (W) 364 mstly clr none 17:00 80 36 10 231 (SW) 401 mstly clr none 18:00 76 33 18 287 (WNW) 352 ptly cldy none 19:00 73 34 13 249 (WSW) 497 ptly cldy none 20:00 70 35 8 262 (W) 479 ptly cldy none 21:00 67 38 11 237 (WSW) 536 mstly clr none 22:00 66 39 14 250 (WSW) 643 mstly clr none 23:00 64 40 6 259 (W) 690 clear none 00:00 64 41 9 281 (W) 778 clear none 01:00 64 41 2 271 (W) 760 clear none 02:00 63 41 11 272 (W) 717 ptly cldy none 03:00 63 41 6 270 (W) 676 ptly cldy none 04:00 63 41 13 297 (WNW) 602 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
