I opened for a while but the cloud got thick again, and then I closed in a hurry when there seemed to be raindrops on the cloudcam, but those turned out to be a false alarm. Later re-opened and the sky improved considerably for first half. The red side contamination posed a serious problem for the second observer's science, but other observers are able to work with it depending on their science. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 02:33 dcamera 687( 945) 28 48 14.5 14.7 15.3 14.6 14.6 - 1.23 22:04 dcamera 719( 1086) -35 61 16.4 17.0 16.8 17.1 16.8 - 1.48 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 62 46 5 115 (ESE) cloudy lt rain 17:00 61 48 9 118 (ESE) cloudy rain 18:00 60 49 7 88 (E) cloudy lt rain 19:00 61 44 4 173 (S) cloudy none 20:00 61 43 10 159 (SSE) mstly cldy none 21:00 60 47 16 146 (SE) ptly cldy none 22:00 62 43 14 180 (S) mstly cldy none 23:00 61 46 8 184 (S) mstly cldy none 00:00 61 47 12 187 (S) ptly cldy none 01:00 59 47 12 210 (SSW) mstly clr none 02:00 58 48 12 187 (S) mstly clr none 03:00 58 49 8 164 (SSE) mstly clr none 04:00 58 49 7 195 (SSW) mstly clr none 05:00 58 49 4 252 (WSW) mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
