Software testing for obs3 *** - Problems with software - Newest version of TUI (and beta) installed - Updated instcheck script (removed SPIcam) - Worked on why nightlogFocus script hangs, no progress but I think I know where in the code it is having an issue (yield command) - AutoNightLog V2.9 works (I forgot hthe command to execute it via a terminal, but works fine if I double click directly from Shared directory) - IRAF works but needed to copy users old login.cl file to get it to work properly - MaskImages script works - DISslits script works - Echelle_Interorder_Light script failed, echelle is not connected. Looks like it is having a problem controlling the lamps. Checkout script seemed to work fine. I also could not control the lamps manually. Restarted echelle nubs fixed the problem. *** echetilt/echepoint (I think we use echetilt now) don't work directly from my command line. Command not found - scat works - VNC Viewer works - CSS works *** talk2boxes does not work (no telnetlib module) *** Microsoft Word and Excel do not work on this machine (outdated PPC version). - Sound works (but only using the internal speaker, which is tinny. Obs1 used the external speakers which is why it sounded different) - Weather Summary file, Be sure to save as webpage, complete on Desktop as weather.html (must have .html extension to read in properly). You then have to edit out the few lines of html code in the night log report (this is normal) *** AutoNightLog V2.9 Need to create a NightLog directory in your user root directory for the night logger to save the night logs to.
