Almost as soon as I opened the clouds decided to appear! We closed the dome before the end of twilight, getting no science. Light rain started a few minutes later (no indication on radar until after it started, luckily we closed just a few minutes prior). We re-opened around 22:40 with a few lingering clouds but no more threats of rain. No problems the rest of the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:59 dcamera 460( 892) 100 72 16.2 18.4 18.3 18.5 17.4 -- 1.00 22:09 dcamera 392( 720) 210 72 16.0 16.3 16.7 16.2 16.0 -- 0.94 01:20 ecamera 559( -284) -72 68 13.6 13.9 14.5 13.8 13.6 ND3 0.92 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 63 46 14 287 (WNW) 351 mstly cldy none 17:00 67 46 16 266 (W) 298 mstly cldy none 18:00 64 46 8 267 (W) 361 mstly cldy none 19:00 63 45 11 268 (W) 330 mstly cldy none 20:00 62 44 6 269 (W) 381 ptly cldy none 21:00 61 44 9 267 (W) 510 mstly cldy lt rain 22:00 61 43 11 270 (W) 315 mstly cldy none 23:00 60 41 8 322 (NW) 438 mstly clr none 00:00 59 41 1 323 (NW) 608 clear none 01:00 58 42 6 9 (N) 723 clear none 02:00 57 42 9 346 (NNW) 710 clear none 03:00 57 43 5 14 (NNE) 743 mstly clr none 04:00 56 43 16 14 (NNE) 716 clear none 05:00 55 44 8 329 (NNW) 730 clear none 06:00 55 43 14 23 (NNE) 739 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
