It sits there in the stars waiting, waiting with the patience of eons, forever waiting... in the Twilight Zone. Our story begins on a dark and stormy night. An average astronomer begins what she thinks is an average night of waiting out a storm. Little does she know that tonight still holds potential to collect what meager answers the heavens were willing to spare. By racing precipitation and time itself, she is able to gaze at the sky for one hour before the heavens hid their enigmatic answers. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:15 dcamera 429( 827) 107 56 16.2 17.5 17.4 17.6 16.8 -- 1.16 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 63 42 14 146 (SE) 1205 ptly cldy none 17:00 63 38 12 136 (SE) 757 ptly cldy none 18:00 65 40 4 191 (S) 1018 ptly cldy none 19:00 62 39 3 106 (ESE) 936 ptly cldy none 20:00 59 38 10 126 (SE) 738 mstly cldy none 21:00 61 38 10 185 (S) 1052 cloudy none 22:00 61 38 11 201 (SSW) 984 cloudy lt rain 23:00 54 42 24 19 (NNE) 8112 cloudy rain 00:00 52 43 13 67 (ENE) 1355 cloudy rain 01:00 51 44 10 259 (W) 945 cloudy rain 02:00 54 40 12 12 (NNE) 726 cloudy none 03:00 57 36 3 254 (WSW) 590 cloudy none 04:00 57 35 17 64 (ENE) 430 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
