For the rest of the night we had rain or high humidity or clouds or all three. There was a site internet outage from about 20:15 to 20:30 local time, when the storm was passing over Tularosa but before it reached us. After that connections were a little slow and spotty but no complete drops. There wasn't much lightning by the time the storm reached us and I didn't close the valve for the NICFPS pump. At 3 am I did close it since dome temperatures were dropping, but by 6 am the temperatures had leveled off and I really didn't think it would get cold enough to be a problem, so I re-opened the valve. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 59 32 8 190 (S) 1395 ptly cldy none 17:00 62 32 12 225 (SW) 1311 ptly cldy none 18:00 59 32 9 209 (SSW) 1327 ptly cldy none 19:00 54 32 7 187 (S) 1469 mstly cldy none 20:00 51 32 15 144 (SE) 1518 cloudy none 21:00 42 32 15 358 (N) 9966 cloudy rain 22:00 43 31 12 79 (E) 601 cloudy rain 23:00 44 31 12 83 (E) 600 cloudy lt rain 00:00 42 31 27 73 (ENE) 525 cloudy none 01:00 43 31 18 58 (ENE) 269 cloudy none 02:00 44 31 8 96 (E) 444 cloudy none 03:00 47 31 13 207 (SSW) 1234 cloudy lt rain 04:00 46 31 16 194 (SSW) 869 cloudy none 05:00 47 31 14 185 (S) 738 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
