We had OUT OF THIS WORLD SEEING!!! 0.6"!! I had to double check it to make sure I wasn't making an error. W.Peters and K.Garcia where onsite to conduct their first night of their three night training. We did end up having problems with the DIS slit wheel not homing but after removing and remounting the wheel 3x and trying to rotate and home, it started working again. 40min was lost in addressing the DIS wheel. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- GS05 D I/H 01:17 01:57 DIS wheel failed to home ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:59 APOLLO 550( 1610) 56 62 11.5 12.9 12.8 12.4 12.0 530 1.30 20:44 arctic 540( 747) 20 55 10.5 10.8 11.4 10.8 10.6 JC-B 0.90 21:33 arctic 535( 715) 11 75 10.8 10.5 11.1 10.5 10.4 JC-R 0.80 21:51 arctic 490( 678) -10 56 10.7 10.5 11.1 10.4 10.4 JC-I 0.60 21:58 arctic 480( 658) -12 75 10.7 10.5 11.1 10.4 10.4 JC-V 0.55 22:38 arctic 480( 662) 43 48 10.2 10.3 10.9 10.3 10.2 JC-V 1.00 01:06 dcamera 512( 523) 5 66 10.0 10.1 10.5 10.2 10.0 -- 1.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 60 18 22 246 (WSW) 831 clear none 17:00 60 16 20 257 (WSW) 790 clear none 18:00 59 14 18 256 (WSW) 773 clear none 19:00 56 14 22 259 (W) 889 clear none 20:00 53 11 24 253 (WSW) 821 clear none 21:00 52 12 24 251 (WSW) 772 clear none 22:00 51 14 15 262 (W) 797 clear none 23:00 51 14 13 266 (W) 737 clear none 00:00 50 15 12 261 (W) 808 clear none 01:00 51 17 17 311 (NW) 870 clear none 02:00 51 17 12 302 (WNW) 968 clear none 03:00 50 18 14 305 (NW) 910 clear none 04:00 50 17 12 317 (NW) 802 clear none 05:00 49 18 10 310 (NW) 793 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
