Although the dome was open until nearly the start of morning twilight, much of the time there was no hope of getting usable data. We kept NICFPS pretty close to upright during all observations, and the pressure was fine all night. The first half observer was working slightly defocused so I didn't get a real seeing measurement. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 23:21 arctic 445( 532) -37 51 9.2 8.4 8.9 8.3 8.3 2 0.95 01:30 NICFPS 488( 906) -63 63 9.2 8.2 8.8 8.2 8.4 K 0.74 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 54 6 12 285 (WNW) 807 ptly cldy none 17:00 54 6 5 282 (WNW) 875 ptly cldy none 18:00 52 4 4 293 (WNW) 733 ptly cldy none 19:00 52 4 5 350 (N) 930 ptly cldy none 20:00 51 3 8 340 (NNW) 873 ptly cldy none 21:00 49 1 9 316 (NW) 845 ptly cldy none 22:00 49 1 10 315 (NW) 731 ptly cldy none 23:00 49 2 8 297 (WNW) 739 ptly cldy none 00:00 48 -1 9 322 (NW) 763 ptly cldy none 01:00 47 0 5 353 (N) 814 mstly cldy none 02:00 47 0 12 318 (NW) 808 mstly cldy none 03:00 48 2 11 327 (NNW) 862 mstly cldy none 04:00 48 2 11 319 (NW) 842 ptly cldy none 05:00 50 3 12 307 (NW) 779 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
