I was able to open 15min before sunset and the dust hovered at closing level nearly all night. I was not able to open the louvers or turn on the fans which resulted in poor seeing. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:17 NICFPS 948( 1091) -43 37 1.9 2.4 5.0 2.3 2.0 MK-Ks 1.20 00:41 ecamera 1042( -416) 108 35 1.2 1.4 3.2 1.4 1.2 -- 3.00 02:05 ecamera 1082( -412) 97 51 1.3 1.0 3.1 1.0 0.9 -- 1.60 03:50 ecamera 970( -542) 138 69 0.8 0.8 3.0 0.9 0.8 -- 1.60 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 43 9 12 255 (WSW) 3772 mstly clr dust 17:00 44 7 22 264 (W) 4137 mstly clr dust 18:00 43 6 27 268 (W) 4745 mstly clr dust 19:00 41 4 21 269 (W) 3746 mstly clr none 20:00 38 4 19 254 (WSW) 3420 mstly clr none 21:00 37 4 14 297 (WNW) 6684 clear none 22:00 36 6 12 276 (W) 4969 clear none 23:00 36 8 14 304 (NW) 4539 clear none 00:00 35 10 10 260 (W) 5063 clear none 01:00 35 11 7 272 (W) 5444 clear none 02:00 34 12 16 298 (WNW) 5304 clear none 03:00 34 12 18 300 (WNW) 5549 clear none 04:00 35 13 10 350 (N) 5582 clear none 05:00 33 14 6 316 (NW) 5209 clear none 06:00 33 15 9 3 (N) 4928 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
