We were actually able to open in twilight. The weather improvement wasn't quite as complete as last night, however - wind was from the east, seeing was poor, and during second half there was a humidity spike that caused us to close for about an hour. But it was nice clear weather and pretty productive in spite of the seeing. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:18 dcamera 650( 435) 89 49 2.8 5.5 4.9 5.6 4.4 - 1.50 01:18 ecamera 587( -945) -23 46 0.1 0.1 0.8 0.2 0.1 Clr 1.67 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 43 19 20 226 (SW) 758 ptly cldy none 17:00 42 18 20 187 (S) 764 mstly cldy lt snow 18:00 44 15 12 255 (WSW) 971 mstly cldy none 19:00 40 15 13 226 (SW) 923 mstly cldy none 20:00 37 16 7 186 (S) 860 mstly clr none 21:00 38 15 8 186 (S) 869 clear none 22:00 34 22 14 110 (ESE) 756 clear none 23:00 34 24 14 87 (E) 697 clear none 00:00 33 24 16 86 (E) 658 clear none 01:00 33 24 13 89 (E) 706 clear none 02:00 31 24 9 105 (ESE) 664 clear none 03:00 29 26 14 127 (SE) 858 clear none 04:00 32 25 15 135 (SE) 1066 clear none 05:00 35 22 16 159 (SSE) 1298 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
