I didn't record the focus info correctly, but seeing was 1.7-2.2 arcsec on various measurements, with occasional flares to worse values. Engineering tasks accomplished: new dcam shutter checkout; dcam alignment; DIS slitviewer vs spectrograph focus check; DIS throughput on four stars; new dcam maskfiles; Shack-Hartmann measurements and collimation adjustment; pointing model; observations with ARCTIC. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 33 -4 44 299 (WNW) 4833 clear dust 17:00 33 -11 26 298 (WNW) 6421 clear dust 18:00 33 -12 13 307 (NW) 883 clear none 19:00 32 -11 13 312 (NW) 463 clear none 20:00 31 -8 11 319 (NW) 300 clear none 21:00 32 -8 14 321 (NW) 310 clear none 22:00 30 2 13 357 (N) 830 clear none 23:00 30 5 12 12 (NNE) 1087 clear none 00:00 30 6 8 314 (NW) 824 clear none 01:00 29 7 5 342 (NNW) 888 clear none 02:00 29 8 15 14 (NNE) 805 clear none 03:00 29 9 11 19 (NNE) 505 clear none 04:00 29 8 16 18 (NNE) 380 clear none 05:00 29 8 11 3 (N) 307 clear none 06:00 28 7 2 331 (NNW) 254 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
