High clouds occasionally swept overhead, but nothing that affected observing to any large degree. Clouds did start to come in near the end of the night, but it did not impede observing until very thick clouds rolled in at 05:00. Observer had to stop at 05:11, and we closed the dome. We did not open again this night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:43 ecamera 763( -647) 63 63 0.5 2.8 2.9 2.3 1.1 ND01 1.04 20:05 ecamera 797( -691) 206 58 1.0 1.2 1.7 0.9 0.5 ND03 0.97 22:15 dcamera 685( 183) -9 57 0.0 -0.1 0.6 -0.1 -0.0 - 1.77 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 37 14 15 286 (WNW) 364 mstly clr none 17:00 33 18 14 281 (W) 649 mstly clr none 18:00 34 18 12 275 (W) 796 mstly clr none 19:00 33 17 16 279 (W) 1004 mstly clr none 20:00 32 15 15 319 (NW) 785 mstly clr none 21:00 33 15 15 312 (NW) 633 mstly clr none 22:00 33 16 14 313 (NW) 640 mstly clr none 23:00 34 15 14 358 (N) 571 mstly clr none 00:00 33 14 4 352 (N) 619 mstly clr none 01:00 32 14 8 344 (NNW) 558 mstly clr none 02:00 32 14 9 348 (NNW) 596 mstly clr none 03:00 32 14 12 334 (NNW) 639 mstly clr none 04:00 31 14 9 335 (NNW) 628 ptly cldy none 05:00 31 12 6 307 (NW) 669 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
