Well we did have very brief patches of some thinning but then clouds. We did have some clearing after 04:40 but my observer needed at least 1.5hrs to get anything useful and at this point, by the time I would have the telescope open and focused we would be running into twilight. We still had unstable clouds to our west moving this way as well, so I called it for the night at 05:00 at which time we had scattered clouds passing overhead again. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 43 -1 8 274 (W) 219 mstly cldy none 17:00 44 -2 18 304 (NW) 228 mstly cldy none 18:00 43 -3 13 331 (NNW) 208 mstly cldy none 19:00 43 3 15 284 (WNW) 223 cloudy none 20:00 43 7 15 312 (NW) 190 cloudy none 21:00 42 -3 12 300 (WNW) 193 cloudy none 22:00 42 -3 8 314 (NW) 199 cloudy none 23:00 43 -2 12 302 (WNW) 173 cloudy none 00:00 43 -1 7 318 (NW) 194 cloudy none 01:00 41 1 10 290 (WNW) 197 mstly cldy none 02:00 41 5 10 285 (WNW) 242 mstly cldy none 03:00 41 -4 14 313 (NW) 215 mstly cldy none 04:00 42 -4 15 314 (NW) 137 mstly cldy none 05:00 41 -5 18 314 (NW) 166 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
