Some high clouds during first half, but never thick. Seeing was somewhat variable but not too bad. Mark came in during the day to charge the ARCTIC cryotiger, and Bill connected remotely in the afternoon to fix communications with the filter wheel. After all that was done there were no further problems, and much gathering of photons ensued. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:56 dcamera 993( 726) -37 70 4.5 4.7 4.0 4.9 4.9 - 1.49 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 41 10 15 334 (NNW) 232 ptly cldy none 17:00 39 13 13 306 (NW) 271 ptly cldy none 18:00 40 9 17 298 (WNW) 306 mstly clr none 19:00 39 9 14 324 (NW) 365 mstly clr none 20:00 41 5 10 326 (NW) 422 mstly clr none 21:00 41 2 13 315 (NW) 590 clear none 22:00 44 1 12 327 (NNW) 758 clear none 23:00 43 1 9 265 (W) 670 clear none 00:00 42 2 9 292 (WNW) 591 clear none 01:00 40 5 8 266 (W) 438 clear none 02:00 41 10 17 284 (WNW) 146 clear none 03:00 41 4 12 308 (NW) 114 clear none 04:00 41 1 12 295 (WNW) 183 clear none 05:00 41 7 13 270 (W) 245 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
