Slewed the scope to the south due to the weather. Snow tapered off around midnight, but what had fallen continued to be blown around. In addition, we had very high humidity. Snow stopped blowing around 02:00. Snow started again around 05:00, and we called it a night at 5:20, no hope of opening. Left scope pointing due south due to snow. Total accumulation on the ground appears to be a little over an inch. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 23 20 26 216 (SW) clear humid 17:00 23 18 19 262 (W) clear lt snow 18:00 22 15 25 261 (W) 5316 clear lt snow 19:00 23 10 23 277 (W) 3139 clear lt snow 20:00 22 11 21 274 (W) 6430 clear lt snow 21:00 22 22 12 274 (W) clear lt snow 22:00 22 21 26 280 (W) clear lt snow 23:00 21 20 20 301 (WNW) clear lt snow 00:00 22 20 30 290 (WNW) clear humid 01:00 22 20 33 293 (WNW) clear humid 02:00 22 21 24 277 (W) clear humid 03:00 22 21 17 286 (WNW) clear humid 04:00 21 21 17 278 (W) clear humid 05:00 21 20 16 278 (W) clear lt snow Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
