Rain in the county delayed opening for a bit. Opened at 17:33 when threat of rain had passed. Starting around 18:15, humidity began to rise. A visual check outside revealed fog clouds a few dozen feet overhead, and we were forced to close at 18:57. High humidity turned to fog between 21:00 and 22:00. AD02 was fogged out. UW13 started with fog still in effect. UW13 signed out at 4:45, not having enough time left to do any science. At that point, we called it a night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:40 dcamera 639( 340) -65 82 1.8 4.1 3.8 4.4 3.6 - 1.42 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 pt cldy none 17:00 pt cldy none 18:00 pt cldy none 19:00 pt cldy humid 20:00 pt cldy humid 21:00 cloudy fog 22:00 cloudy fog 23:00 cloudy fog 00:00 cloudy fog 01:00 cloudy fog 02:00 cloudy fog 03:00 cloudy fog 04:00 cloudy fog 05:00 cloudy fog Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
