Seeing wasn't epic, but it was good for most of the night. CU08 had a great idea to test the drift of the NA2 guider with dcam. We tested guiding with dcam while manual guiding with NA2. Guiding was held constant with dcam and no real drift was seen in the NA2 guider. No problems tonight. Zach Berta-Thompson completed his 3 night training with lots of questions and lots of coffee! ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:43 dcamera 802( 564) 217 66 4.3 5.2 5.2 5.2 4.6 -- 1.06 18:51 dcamera 628( 356) 18 51 4.3 4.3 4.8 4.3 4.3 -- 1.09 23:48 dcamera 711( 393) 99 49 4.7 3.4 4.0 3.5 3.8 -- 1.49 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 41 27 9 336 (NNW) 724 clear none 17:00 40 26 9 343 (NNW) 648 clear none 18:00 40 24 11 3 (N) 662 ptly cldy none 19:00 40 24 13 27 (NNE) 715 ptly cldy none 20:00 39 25 3 347 (NNW) 664 clear none 21:00 40 23 17 20 (NNE) 660 mstly clr none 22:00 39 23 13 23 (NNE) 679 ptly cldy none 23:00 39 23 11 42 (NE) 687 clear none 00:00 40 24 3 67 (ENE) 657 clear none 01:00 40 25 8 352 (N) 673 clear none 02:00 40 25 14 13 (NNE) 637 clear none 03:00 41 18 19 18 (NNE) 567 clear none 04:00 40 17 15 29 (NNE) 504 clear none 05:00 40 15 17 28 (NNE) 469 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
