I took another two images (before I ran the IOL script) with Qrtz and ThAr lamps. Quartz looked fine, ThAr looked fine. Clouds plagued us for the first half. Nothing to threaten closing but enough to make my first half observers spectroscopic observations challenging with DIS. Clouds plagued actually all night and the winds changed direction and temperatures plummeted during the second half. Seeing went south on us as well. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:24 dcamera 787( 990) 93 58 10.6 13.6 13.2 13.7 13.4 -- 1.00 18:28 NA2gdr 7933(29933) 93 59 10.9 13.5 13.1 13.5 13.3 clear 1.00 19:57 dcamera 632( 732) 79 53 10.8 11.7 11.6 11.2 11.3 -- 1.10 00:20 arctic 667( 831) -42 50 10.7 9.9 10.5 9.8 10.1 SDSS-r 0.85 02:23 dcamera 629( 539) 36 51 7.4 7.9 8.7 7.8 7.8 -- 2.30 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 60 25 12 258 (WSW) 583 ptly cldy none 17:00 57 22 12 293 (WNW) 711 ptly cldy none 18:00 55 24 9 306 (NW) 813 ptly cldy none 19:00 52 24 8 267 (W) 839 ptly cldy none 20:00 50 25 5 258 (WSW) 958 ptly cldy none 21:00 52 25 5 194 (SSW) 966 mstly cldy none 22:00 50 26 5 146 (SE) 1068 mstly cldy none 23:00 52 25 4 195 (SSW) 1027 mstly cldy none 00:00 50 25 7 111 (ESE) 1005 mstly cldy none 01:00 53 19 5 167 (SSE) 790 mstly cldy none 02:00 48 22 14 95 (E) 1075 mstly cldy none 03:00 46 21 18 85 (E) 1084 ptly cldy none 04:00 45 20 16 85 (E) 1160 mstly cldy none 05:00 38 27 21 79 (E) 2917 mstly cldy none 06:00 35 29 23 78 (ENE) 2630 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
