Since there was no dager of rain, we opened and attempted some science. Clouds were thin enough to observe through, but the skies would certainly not be called photometric. Things began to improve around 04:00, with only thin high clouds remaining, and continued to improve thorugh dawn. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:57 arctic 672( 883) -4 72 10.0 11.1 11.2 11.1 10.9 SDSS-r 0.79 21:02 arctic 682( 842) -3 44 9.9 9.8 10.2 9.7 9.8 SDSS-r 0.98 01:21 dcamera 722( 726) 2 49 10.5 9.7 10.3 9.8 9.9 - 1.22 05:04 dcamera 697( 693) -44 34 9.9 9.3 9.8 9.4 9.5 - 1.30 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 53 34 8 256 (WSW) 1295 cloudy none 17:00 52 33 9 220 (SW) 1674 cloudy none 18:00 50 34 6 209 (SSW) 1496 cloudy none 19:00 50 34 10 227 (SW) 1611 mstly cldy none 20:00 50 33 11 226 (SW) 1713 mstly cldy none 21:00 50 33 9 227 (SW) 1484 ptly cldy none 22:00 50 33 8 207 (SSW) 1435 ptly cldy none 23:00 50 32 7 190 (S) 1281 ptly cldy none 00:00 50 33 5 185 (S) 1215 ptly cldy none 01:00 51 32 5 259 (W) 1070 ptly cldy none 02:00 51 32 6 260 (W) 1070 ptly cldy none 03:00 49 34 5 231 (SW) 953 ptly cldy none 04:00 50 34 5 251 (WSW) 960 mstly clr none 05:00 50 33 7 264 (W) 1008 mstly clr none 06:00 50 32 8 272 (W) 1075 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
