The dust count became high but not high enough to close, though I did close the louvers and only turned on the press fans. The clouds cleared before midnight but returned at 4:30am. There was poor seeing all night. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:03 ecamera 804( -493) 81 72 3.6 4.8 5.8 4.4 4.1 ND1 1.60 00:38 NICFPS 942( 1046) -13 77 1.9 2.2 4.0 2.2 2.0 MK-H 1.70 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 44 9 25 253 (WSW) clear none 17:00 42 9 25 253 (WSW) clear none 18:00 38 9 23 267 (W) clear none 19:00 38 11 21 268 (W) clear none 20:00 37 14 26 287 (WNW) ptly cldy none 21:00 37 15 11 272 (W) ptly cldy none 22:00 37 17 17 267 (W) ptly cldy none 23:00 37 18 19 275 (W) clear none 00:00 35 18 20 274 (W) clear none 01:00 34 18 21 284 (WNW) clear none 02:00 33 19 11 290 (WNW) clear none 03:00 33 19 13 279 (W) clear none 04:00 32 19 14 299 (WNW) mstly clr none 05:00 32 20 12 277 (W) clear none 06:00 32 19 15 278 (W) clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
