I got a new inst block for ARCTIC and a pointing model. During second half there was a nice period of photometric skies, and I observed lots of standards with ARCTIC. When the high clouds returned, even though it was safe to open I had no more tasks that could be done through clouds. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:03 arctic 604( 539) 116 64 4.3 5.6 5.6 5.5 4.8 r 0.97 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 40 12 0 274 (W) 211 mstly clr none 17:00 41 12 4 340 (NNW) 8 mstly clr none 18:00 40 11 14 20 (NNE) 3 mstly clr none 19:00 40 11 13 6 (N) 3 mstly clr none 20:00 39 12 10 17 (NNE) 7 mstly clr none 21:00 41 9 12 352 (N) 5 mstly clr none 22:00 40 7 11 350 (N) 2 mstly clr none 23:00 41 8 10 14 (NNE) 9 mstly clr none 00:00 42 6 5 336 (NNW) 14 mstly clr none 01:00 40 5 8 11 (N) 16 mstly clr none 02:00 39 5 3 281 (W) 13 clear none 03:00 39 6 10 338 (NNW) 16 clear none 04:00 40 5 6 300 (WNW) 14 clear none 05:00 40 3 7 297 (WNW) 22 mstly clr none 06:00 38 1 10 278 (W) 12 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
