Wind was light for most of the night; when it did get over 20 mph, I inspected in the dome and found no blown snow so I didn't think it was necessary to restrict pointing. All the telescope files were restored, so pointing and collimation were fine. There was a little trouble with the local network affecting laptops, but the remote users never got disconnected and the fixed machines were fine. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:40 tcamera 850( 434) 27 44 -4.6 -2.5 -3.0 -2.2 -3.1 Ks 1.89 00:19 arctic 585( 16) 31 52 -3.2 -4.4 -3.9 -4.2 -4.0 r 1.75 00:22 arctic 570( 1) 30 53 -6.1 -4.4 -3.9 -4.2 -4.0 658 1.81 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 22 14 1 335 (NNW) 78 clear none 17:00 25 15 2 72 (ENE) 89 clear none 18:00 24 11 11 45 (NE) 75 clear none 19:00 22 -5 15 36 (NE) 20 clear none 20:00 21 -2 17 39 (NE) 37 clear none 21:00 24 -11 14 35 (NE) 34 clear none 22:00 25 -10 21 53 (NE) 32 clear none 23:00 26 -7 18 36 (NE) 19 clear none 00:00 24 -8 19 32 (NNE) 19 clear none 01:00 29 -8 16 35 (NE) 36 clear none 02:00 26 -9 12 25 (NNE) 96 clear none 03:00 27 -6 11 32 (NNE) 30 clear none 04:00 30 -6 10 8 (N) 33 clear none 05:00 31 -8 6 355 (N) 33 clear none 06:00 33 -12 8 346 (NNW) 39 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
