The night started out foggy and humid. The fog left about an hour after sunset and the humidity decreased at 21:00 and we were able to open to a fantastic night! Many pointing tests were conducted for CU02's program and the pointing was found to be superb if not downright amazing. C.Grava is an untrained observer that assisted for CU02. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:33 dcamera 510( -56) 159 68 0.9 -1.2 -0.6 -1.2 -1.0 -- 1.30 00:14 ecamera 641( -943) -45 79 1.6 -0.5 0.3 -0.4 -0.2 ND2 0.80 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 28 28 3 205 (SSW) 24772 mstly cldy humid 17:00 28 28 2 208 (SSW) 92990 ptly cldy humid 18:00 29 28 3 252 (WSW) 21411 ptly cldy humid 19:00 29 27 13 256 (WSW) 211 mstly clr humid 20:00 29 26 9 261 (W) 159 clear humid 21:00 31 25 6 228 (SW) 154 clear none 22:00 32 19 6 259 (W) 141 clear none 23:00 32 13 2 250 (WSW) 85 clear none 00:00 35 3 2 249 (WSW) 94 clear none 01:00 33 3 2 249 (WSW) 79 clear none 02:00 35 4 3 208 (SSW) 118 clear none 03:00 35 2 6 247 (WSW) 103 clear none 04:00 36 2 9 287 (WNW) 63 clear none 05:00 35 1 6 272 (W) 64 clear none 06:00 35 -2 9 315 (NW) 64 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
