After a heavy downpour the sky cleared quickly, but it was humid and unstable for a while. The first half observer gave up when she couldn't get a full observation in, so the second half observer got to start early. And then stop and start and stop again as the clouds did strange unexpected things. During one of the closed periods several raindrops reached the cloudcam, so it was all justified. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 00:47 ecamera 100( -618) -85 42 13.7 15.8 17.8 15.1 14.6 ND2 0.98 02:42 ecamera 350( -420) -130 44 14.8 14.8 15.6 14.7 14.5 ND2 0.81 05:37 APOLLO 325( 1476) 102 38 14.3 14.1 14.6 14.1 14.0 530 1.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 70 46 7 258 (WSW) 298 cloudy none 17:00 67 46 7 294 (WNW) 312 cloudy none 18:00 65 46 7 269 (W) 330 cloudy lt rain 19:00 60 52 0 107 (ESE) 507 cloudy lt rain 20:00 62 48 2 250 (WSW) 375 cloudy lt rain 21:00 60 50 7 254 (WSW) 455 cloudy rain 22:00 58 50 2 353 (N) 420 cloudy rain 23:00 54 50 2 126 (SE) 587 ptly cldy humid 00:00 54 50 10 111 (ESE) 483 clear humid 01:00 56 49 7 89 (E) 321 clear none 02:00 59 47 5 261 (W) 232 ptly cldy none 03:00 59 47 1 280 (W) 174 ptly cldy none 04:00 60 42 13 346 (NNW) 191 ptly cldy none 05:00 58 44 6 309 (NW) 146 mstly clr none 06:00 57 46 4 234 (SW) 199 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
