I will repeat the test again tomorrow with the hose disconnected. All controllers reset NA2 rotator zero'ed DIS Red cryrotiger and ion pump off We finally opened around 23:20. Humidity was still borderline but below closure limits. - DIS slitview star streaking. We believe it is indeed a shutter problem. My DIS slitviewer window backwards/forwards image buttons were greyed out! Russet's worked fine on her laptop. Noth running Beta TUI. My SLitviewr images were not updating either. Don York complained about this problem as well. I had to completely quit TUI and restart a new one to fix. - SPIcam throughput with SDSS filter set (/spicam/throughput) PG2331+055 PG0231+051 PG2336+004 - Russet checked and adjusted collimation. - Spot checked pointing at NA2 after adjustments. - Dome flats for Throughput - Tested slew superceeds with new hub, no change from previous. Finished up around 04:30 and handed the telescope over to the DD05 drop in program. TSPEC was working and the user aborted an exposure. After this images were corrupted. I tried power cycling the array 2x but that didn't help. I then tried taking a bunch of exposures to see if that might clear things TSPEC giving corrupt images at end of night. I am taking lots of exposures to try to clear. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- DD05 T I/S 05:55 06:46 TSPEC corrupted images ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 23:40 dcamera 799( 913) 282 76 9.9 12.1 13.9 11.6 11.1 -- 1.50 00:55 SPIcam 698( 915) 268 60 10.2 11.0 12.7 10.7 10.5 sdss r 0.87 00:58 NA2gdr 1807(31807) 268 59 10.5 11.0 12.6 10.6 10.5 clear 1.22 02:22 shack 598( 1170) 62 59 10.0 10.1 11.0 9.9 9.8 -- 1.10 04:34 tcamera 528( 719) 128 51 9.6 9.3 10.0 9.2 9.2 Ks 0.92 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 56 47 8 260 (W) 394 cloudy none 17:00 55 48 2 262 (W) 429 cloudy lt rain 18:00 55 47 6 256 (WSW) 380 cloudy none 19:00 52 47 4 250 (WSW) 386 cloudy humid 20:00 52 46 1 67 (ENE) 369 cloudy humid 21:00 51 46 6 87 (E) 427 ptly cldy humid 22:00 49 46 12 82 (E) 384 ptly cldy humid 23:00 50 45 15 61 (ENE) 380 clear none 00:00 50 45 15 59 (ENE) 400 clear none 01:00 51 43 14 46 (NE) 330 clear none 02:00 51 44 14 43 (NE) 371 clear none 03:00 50 43 7 355 (N) 430 clear none 04:00 50 44 10 39 (NE) 380 clear none 05:00 49 44 11 10 (N) 384 clear humid 06:00 49 44 12 20 (NNE) 392 clear humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
