When we did open, the threat had passed but the clouds still caused some trouble with guiding. Seeing was excellent despite this. Overall a productive night, with no problems. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:04 SPIcam 476( 1040) -15 36 15.3 17.0 16.9 17.1 16.1 SDSS r 1.15 22:10 SPIcam 460( 893) 34 46 14.5 14.9 15.4 14.8 14.5 SDSS r 0.80 00:19 ecamera 494( -316) -122 49 14.3 14.2 14.7 14.2 14.1 ND2 0.71 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 64 44 15 266 (W) 361 ptly cldy none 17:00 63 45 14 255 (WSW) 408 mstly clr none 18:00 66 47 17 210 (SSW) 401 ptly cldy none 19:00 62 45 11 261 (W) 442 ptly cldy none 20:00 59 46 10 254 (WSW) 420 ptly cldy none 21:00 60 46 8 261 (W) 371 mstly clr none 22:00 59 46 13 237 (WSW) 429 clear none 23:00 58 46 11 233 (SW) 359 mstly clr none 00:00 58 46 9 256 (WSW) 394 clear none 01:00 58 46 11 241 (WSW) 421 ptly cldy none 02:00 58 45 10 236 (SW) 373 clear none 03:00 58 45 10 232 (SW) 357 mstly clr none 04:00 57 45 10 247 (WSW) 379 clear none 05:00 57 45 8 253 (WSW) 419 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
