Mostly info for the obs specs as the nights are getting longer and so are the time between fills. We had rain in the afternoon, and then cloudy most of the remainder of the night. I opted to stay closed due to a band of darker clouds, on the satlellite, slowly moving over us. The sky started to improve about 45 mins before the start of twilight (or a sucker hole) but we still had a good layer of uniform cirrus with a lot of extinction. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 54 47 11 86 (E) 270 cloudy lt rain 17:00 54 44 13 56 (NE) 370 cloudy lt rain 18:00 58 38 9 29 (NNE) 231 cloudy none 19:00 58 39 6 355 (N) 411 cloudy none 20:00 57 43 6 351 (N) 358 cloudy none 21:00 56 41 2 201 (SSW) 345 cloudy none 22:00 56 44 2 207 (SSW) 425 cloudy none 23:00 56 45 5 186 (S) 458 cloudy none 00:00 55 45 3 214 (SW) 521 cloudy none 01:00 56 45 5 236 (SW) 501 mstly cldy none 02:00 56 45 1 225 (SW) 394 mstly cldy none 03:00 56 47 2 251 (WSW) 496 mstly cldy none 04:00 55 47 3 280 (W) 574 mstly cldy none 05:00 54 45 2 33 (NNE) 429 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
