We attempted to open and get a few exposures for Becky, but they were unusable for her science, due to patchy clouds and quick focus, so I logged all this time to weather. The second half of the night went well with clear skies, decent seeing, and no problems. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 01:04 SPIcam 350( 885) 8 50 16.7 17.0 17.5 17.1 16.8 -- 1.60 01:39 NICFPS 200( 1066) 40 51 16.0 16.7 17.2 16.6 16.3 Mk-Ks 1.50 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 70 46 1 249 (WSW) 627 ptly cldy none 17:00 69 40 2 128 (SE) 531 ptly cldy none 18:00 71 40 5 188 (S) 520 mstly cldy none 19:00 67 40 5 353 (N) 591 mstly cldy rain 20:00 66 40 8 55 (NE) 496 ptly cldy none 21:00 67 36 11 126 (SE) 611 mstly cldy none 22:00 60 44 13 114 (ESE) 413 mstly cldy none 23:00 63 42 9 186 (S) 460 mstly cldy none 00:00 66 37 3 145 (SE) 610 ptly cldy none 01:00 62 41 3 244 (WSW) 997 mstly clr none 02:00 61 41 7 9 (N) 759 clear none 03:00 63 42 12 359 (N) 522 clear none 04:00 61 43 8 360 (N) 481 clear none 05:00 61 43 18 28 (NNE) 423 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
