Frits said disk was full and made some space on it. In the process he managed to wipe out IDL, I saw the error reported a couple days ago about masks and shape files and some blurb about IDL. Fritz quickly restored IDL and had things working again. TSPEC was not happy tonight. FIrst half program went to their backup instrument of SPIcam. Clouds prevented us from opening with light rain and clouds for most of the night. We gave up a little before 4AM. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 64 49 3 260 (W) 1189 mstly cldy none 17:00 66 50 6 198 (SSW) 1234 mstly cldy none 18:00 63 47 8 240 (WSW) 1079 mstly cldy none 19:00 67 48 3 238 (WSW) 1055 mstly cldy none 20:00 59 50 21 134 (SE) 1293 mstly cldy none 21:00 58 50 9 90 (E) 1293 mstly cldy none 22:00 57 49 10 82 (E) 1192 cloudy rain 23:00 53 50 17 122 (ESE) 1243 cloudy lt rain 00:00 53 49 25 149 (SSE) 900 cloudy lt rain 01:00 52 46 18 111 (ESE) 692 cloudy lt rain 02:00 57 45 6 228 (SW) 928 cloudy lt rain 03:00 53 48 5 242 (WSW) 1044 cloudy lt rain 04:00 55 48 9 190 (S) 1183 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
