Recovered easily. Tspec images were corrupted, so I ran 1000 darks to see if it would ever recover. NFS=8. No change in status. No engineering tasks accomplished as rain fell intermittenly throughout the night. Monitored DIS temps and GIFS vacuum. Gave up a little before 04:00 as CU04 needed enough sky time for a time series. No hope of opening before dawn. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 71 47 9 239 (WSW) 325 mstly cldy none 17:00 64 47 15 113 (ESE) 329 cloudy rain 18:00 61 42 10 356 (N) 229 cloudy lt rain 19:00 58 47 8 34 (NE) 355 mstly cldy humid 20:00 59 45 20 29 (NNE) 328 mstly cldy none 21:00 59 45 16 53 (NE) 169 cloudy none 22:00 57 46 5 352 (N) 194 mstly cldy lt rain 23:00 55 48 13 30 (NNE) 317 mstly cldy lt rain 00:00 59 45 11 54 (NE) 230 mstly cldy none 01:00 53 49 14 78 (ENE) 302 cloudy lt rain 02:00 52 49 15 85 (E) 311 cloudy none 03:00 52 47 15 107 (ESE) 133 cloudy lt rain Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
