Thunderstorms are brewing in the east, but are toying with us. However, the seeing was atrocious, and so things were not so positive. We stayed open as long as we could, but the humidity eventually got us. We closed at midnight, and never reopened. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:29 APOLLO 400( 1780) -58 60 12.4 16.2 16.7 15.1 13.2 -- 3.50 20:35 ecamera 250( -474) 164 75 11.9 13.3 13.9 12.8 12.0 ND2 3.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 62 48 10 105 (ESE) 4998 ptly cldy dust 17:00 62 48 13 120 (ESE) 4472 ptly cldy dust 18:00 61 49 21 106 (ESE) 3267 ptly cldy dust 19:00 58 50 17 87 (E) 3242 mstly clr dust 20:00 55 50 18 114 (ESE) 4152 mstly clr humid 21:00 54 49 19 101 (E) 4772 clear humid 22:00 53 48 20 71 (ENE) 5315 clear humid 23:00 52 48 17 82 (E) 6172 clear humid 00:00 52 49 26 78 (ENE) 6405 clear humid 01:00 51 49 13 74 (ENE) 7233 clear humid 02:00 51 49 17 76 (ENE) 6531 clear humid 03:00 51 49 12 84 (E) 6743 clear humid 04:00 51 48 14 85 (E) 5350 mstly clr humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
