Seeing wasn't terrible, but not stable. It was difficult to get a good focus. When moving between Bay 2 and 1, the gratings ended at slightly off positions, 8 and -5. I gave the adjustments in the gratings file, and all of the detents looked ok, but that edit only improved things a small amount. MAybe the turret belt is too tight? Definitely not the same as last night, though. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:25 dcamera 365( 543) 240 57 7.5 10.2 10.5 9.9 7.7 -- 1.80 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 54 37 5 188 (S) 1565 cloudy none 17:00 54 24 17 184 (S) 1097 cloudy none 18:00 58 33 16 185 (S) 1140 cloudy none 19:00 52 33 22 200 (SSW) 1319 cloudy rain 20:00 40 40 11 342 (NNW) 124 cloudy humid 21:00 43 39 23 166 (SSE) 632 ptly cldy humid 22:00 45 39 16 205 (SSW) 879 mstly clr none 23:00 46 39 13 203 (SSW) 1297 ptly cldy humid 00:00 43 41 16 186 (S) 1321 mstly clr humid 01:00 45 37 17 212 (SSW) 1700 clear humid 02:00 44 34 19 220 (SW) 1541 clear humid 03:00 42 35 15 250 (WSW) 1320 clear humid 04:00 42 31 13 251 (WSW) 1403 clear humid 05:00 41 34 11 249 (WSW) 1369 clear humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
