I decided it was better to hand it over to Merida than continue fighting with the focus script. We battled thin to heavy clouds all night. Once things got bad, we were on very bright targets, so we were able to push through. Seeing stayed excellent until the last few hours. Apollo software crashed right before we swapped programs, and was unfixable. Russet ceded the hour to UW10. Adam could only use a small part of that extra hour, so we closed a bit early. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:19 dcamera 256( 338) -107 36 7.7 7.8 8.0 7.5 7.3 -- 1.30 01:12 ecamera 378( -616) -131 55 8.1 7.8 8.3 7.8 7.5 ND3 0.95 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 47 33 11 282 (WNW) 1167 mstly clr none 17:00 48 34 11 302 (WNW) 1210 mstly clr none 18:00 47 33 4 269 (W) 1122 ptly cldy none 19:00 46 33 6 261 (W) 1031 ptly cldy none 20:00 44 32 13 213 (SSW) 1085 ptly cldy none 21:00 46 29 5 201 (SSW) 1039 ptly cldy none 22:00 47 25 10 224 (SW) 867 mstly cldy none 23:00 47 26 13 263 (W) 925 mstly cldy none 00:00 47 27 6 258 (WSW) 894 cloudy none 01:00 48 27 10 271 (W) 933 cloudy none 02:00 47 27 10 202 (SSW) 951 cloudy none 03:00 43 31 10 121 (ESE) 1144 cloudy none 04:00 42 30 8 116 (ESE) 1204 cloudy none 05:00 45 28 6 183 (S) 1086 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
