I tried a couple attempts at stop button/axis init but nothing worked. I then logged in to talk2boxes and tried moving it from there. Still didn't move. I then reset the az controller. I needed to set the position after the reset (it changed it to 0). I logged out and tried small slews from TUI, which now worked. The seeing went south on us around 22:00, due to two fronts colliding overhead. No problems with the DIS slit masks changing tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:08 dcamera 333( 785) 136 75 13.1 15.7 15.1 15.4 13.3 -- 1.04 20:46 SPIcam 225( 711) 136 72 12.8 13.5 13.7 13.2 12.6 sdss u 0.95 00:17 NA2gdr -2618(27381) 239 40 10.0 10.2 10.7 9.9 9.9 sdss r 1.60 02:22 NA2gdr -1501(28498) 177 63 10.9 10.2 10.8 10.2 10.5 ND1 1.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 62 20 6 199 (SSW) 679 ptly cldy none 17:00 67 22 19 205 (SSW) 629 ptly cldy none 18:00 60 18 11 250 (WSW) 688 ptly cldy none 19:00 59 19 15 225 (SW) 722 ptly cldy none 20:00 54 18 8 213 (SSW) 667 ptly cldy none 21:00 55 17 11 197 (SSW) 686 ptly cldy none 22:00 55 16 13 191 (S) 737 ptly cldy none 23:00 52 19 23 145 (SE) 840 mstly clr none 00:00 51 20 19 154 (SSE) 905 clear none 01:00 51 21 16 160 (SSE) 870 clear none 02:00 51 20 2 98 (E) 846 clear none 03:00 51 15 9 199 (SSW) 728 clear none 04:00 52 17 9 182 (S) 634 clear none 05:00 51 17 8 191 (S) 643 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
